Our terms and conditions comply with UK legislation and designed to ensure that our customers can shop with confidence with us. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date it is posted on our site. We will always present you a copy of our terms and conditions to read and accept whenever you place an order.
These terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have, such as consumer rights under the consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000.
Goods offered for sale at all times remain the property of HillChoice Online until payment has been received and cleared in full. We offer a 60-day from date on invoice, Return-To-Base Warranty on all products unless otherwise stated. All items listed are new unless stated. Photos are shown to illustrate the item(s) advertised and may vary slightly from item on offer.
All trademarks at all times remain the property of the registered owners and products are advertised subject to availability.
All our prices are quoted in GBP. In all cases Prices are subject to change without prior notice at the discretion of HillChoice Online. HillChoice Online reserves the right to decline service to any company or consumer.
HillChoice Online does not accept responsibility for any failures to the Buyer’s equipment in the process of adding our components while the equipment is the possession of the Buyer.
HillChoice Online accepts the responsibility of incorrectly dispatched goods (i.e. goods not matching the specification as listed) and agrees to pay the return postage. However, the HillChoice Online does not accept any consequential loss to the customer during this period and offers no compensation for such.
In all cases faulty consumable goods such as printer cartridges and laptop batteries must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
HillChoice Online accepts no responsibility for any consequential loss caused to the buyer for the receiving of faulty goods. Faulty goods received shall be dealt with as outlined below. Whilst every effort shall be made to keep any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence. HillChoice Online shall not be liable for any consequential loss incurred by the buyer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
HillChoice Online cannot accept any returned goods found to fall into one or more of the following categories:
- The goods are in some way physically damaged by the buyer or a 3rd party agent on behalf of the buyer.
- The goods are found not to have been sold to the customer by HillChoice Online.
- The goods are found to have been repaired by the buyer or a third party agent.
- The goods are outside the warranty limit.
- The goods have been returned without prior approval.
Upon return of goods found to be faulty, the HillChoice Online offers the following service:
To return the repaired item or a working replacement of equal or better specification to the customer within 14 days from the commencement of the contract.
However in all cases the HillChoice Online will endeavour to return goods within 7 working days of receipt. If, after 14 days, a replacement cannot be sent for whatever reason, a full refund of the original amount will be given. Non faulty items returned to HillChoice Online complete with packaging, manuals and software disks within 7 working days of purchase may obtain a full refund. Goods must be sellable as in the condition they were sold in order to qualify for a full refund. Outside of 7 working days, non-faulty items will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Faulty non-repairable items returned within 60 days will be refunded or exchanged for an identical product or nearest equivalent product. Over 60 days from the date of purchase, faulty items still covered by warranty will have to be returned to our suppliers, which will take up to a further 30 days. If after 30 days, a replacement cannot be obtained for whatever reason, a full refund will be given at the original price of purchase.
Except as may be implied by law, where the buyer is dealing as a consumer, in the event of any breach of these conditions by the Company the remedies of the buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstance exceed the price of the goods, and the Company shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
